Bucky the Beaver makes his long awaited return!

Bucky the Beaver was one of my first toys....he's a peculiar little fellow, with some serious buck teeth!

I've updated his look a bit, and the first of his family members are off to Bisous Lifestyle Store in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

What do you think of him?  I love his tail, and he's now available for sale on Etsy!

And hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more buck teeth friends coming soon!

Dove and Duck Egg

I recently received an order for a group of lovely Orli the Owls, with one request, that they be in Dove blue and Duck Egg blue.

This is my interpretation of the colours, and I hope you like it!

Oooowwwwlllls!

A bigger Flit!

 

With the beginning of a new week, I've finished a new project, and is sending the critter off today.

 

 

 

It's a familiar face, Flit the Fox, but a bit bigger than usual, with loads of detail!

 

 

 

 

I can't divulge the project that it is going to yet, have to see the outcome of it first, but as soon as I know, I'll share it with you all!

 

 

 

 

But in the meantime, I hope you like her.....!

And we're back!

It's been a very busy Christmas time, but I'm sure everyone can agree.  There's been family time, and some much needed downtime, Santa time, Holiday time, and overall just some good, old fashioned sleepy times!

 

 

 

Wiantjie had a blast through it all, enjoying all the presents Santa gave him, which was his dad in a Santa hat, which was hilarious..but in my little boys eyes, as soon as his dad put that hat on, he was Father Christmas, and that was that!

 

And Savannah, our Basset, had to get some of the lime light, I mean, she is gorgeous, and just gave me a great Christmas card idea for next year!

 

And with all that happened, it had to come to an end again for another year.  Luckily we have the photo's to prove what a wonderful Christmas it was.

 

My Dad is still spared, we spent Christmas day with them, and it was the most precious gift ever.

 

I just want to wish everyone a very healthy 2013, may we all have happiness abound...may your cup run over...may success follow you where-ever you go...and may love find you every day of your life!

Marmite!

Marmite the Monster is the first of it's kind in a potentially big range of critters that is on the way!

She's very soft, made from felt, cotton and brushed fleece....and she's got a sly little smile!

Her debut will be happening at this weekend's heART in the Garden exhibition, 30 November until 2 December, Tamara Park, Centurion, South Africa...along with 90 other little BOO!beloobies that would brighten anybody's day!

More info will be coming on the exhibit tomorrow!

McWilliam McCloud and my Dad

McWilliam McCloud is very special to me, he's inspired by my Dad, and named after him as well.

As long as I can remember, my dad has had a big bushy moustache.  Later in his life it started getting loads of different colours, browns, reds, whites.....

After he was diagnosed with his 3rd type of cancer in his lifetime, 1 being prostate cancer when I was only in Grade 8, bladder cancer last year, and June of 2012 with Lung Cancer, I knew that he would probably lose his trademark moustache.

He's fighting the biggest battle of his life at the moment, 6 rounds of chemo and 2 weeks of intense radiation later, he lost all his hair....but the moustache is slowly growing back, completely white...softer than before, but still, it's coming back.

We don't know the outcome of it all yet, and he's still very sick and weak; but we're hopeful, we're believing in miracles....and we are praying a lot.

This is a dedication to the most loving person I've ever met, the most brave and majestic man I'll ever know.....I love you Dad (Brig. William Thomas Venter).

I always have, and I always will.  You are always on my mind, and forever in my prayers.....the fight will still be a big one, but I know that Poeksie can do it.
