Violet Limited Edition Orli the Owl!

I've been working on a Limited Edition Violet and Turqouise Orli the Owl.

She is a Limited Edition version, because the fabric she is made of sold out completely, so when it's used up, it will be gone forever!

I thought she would do good, and I was right, at this weekends heART in the Piazza event at Montecasino's MTN Festival, I only brought one home!

Still have a little bit of the fabric left, will be making the rest to see how many little Orli's will still be able to go to good homes!

It's Spring time in South Africa.....so we are back to having some lovely 'braaivleis', will be doing that this upcoming weekend, the 24th being National Braai day!

BOO!beloobies in the "Baba en Kleuter" Magazine September issue!

Local is Lekker - that's what it's all about in the September issue of the "Baba en Kleuter" (baby and toddler) Magazine in South Africa.

Showcasing the most beautiful items for your baby and little toddler's rooms, thing to wear, and plushies to play with!

My BOO!beloobie Orli the Owls was picked to be on the front page, which I'm very excited about.  And they received a second viewing inside as well!

And Flit the Fox and Remmington the Robot also made their presence felt in the feature!

My latest little Ribbon the Rabbit is listed on Etsy!

The latest Ribbon the Rabbit listed on Etsy is simply gorgeous, even if I have to say so myself.

I sourced the fabric especially for her.  It's a soft printed canvas, with the most delicious paisley looking print on it.

I thought this would be a nice little addition to some colour in our weekend, as South Africa has gone from being cold and having some snowfall late in August, to full blown Summer weather in a matter of 2 weeks.

So the colour scheme made me think of newly budding flowers, sherbert, ice cream, happiness....and  all that lovely stuff!

Blakely the Bearling

So little Blakely the Bearling became the second little critter in the Bearling family.

I love his squinty eyes, and his bow tie makes him look quite distinguished!

He's been listed on Etsy, so go and have a look everyone!

A BOO!beloobie transport range - and here's the first member of the clan!

I've always liked the idea of planes and trains and automobiles for a little boys room.

I know it's kind of generic, but it can be made fun....and what boy doesn't love cars, or bikes, or planes....well, anything with wheels for that matter?

And this past Sunday, my little boy was talking so much about an aeroplane, that I decided to try to make one...It looked difficult, but actually turned out to not be as difficult a I anticipated.

So I drew up the pattern, started making it by 10 in the morning, and finished with it by 1 in the afternoon.

And Wiantjie LOVES it, he's been playing with it non stop!

And that made me decide to bring out a whole range of transport related decor and toys....probably in the next couple of months!
